Our March Mix Up commander Club Angel rounds out the month with a huge garage & house mix!
You’ve just landed the hottest ticket in town to Club Angel’s March Residency right here on triple j!
The Aussie producer and DJ has dominated club and festival dancefloors across the country with his massive UKG, jungle and bass selections, adding his own spin to early 00s and late 90s dance classics.
You might have caught him shelling down behind the decks at the likes of Pitch Music & Arts Fest, Lost Paradise or Let Them Eat Cake, or on supports for huge names like Interplanetary Criminal, KETTAMA or Willaris K. over the last couple of years.
His tracks ‘Stylin’’ and ‘Ride For Me’ with Becca Hatch have also been faves at the station, and we’re so excited that his second studio EP is out now!
Releasing on Astral People Recordings, the Soundbwoy’s Destiny EP traverses dark and moody 2-step, reggae samples and shuffling bass across 6 tracks, including the latest single ‘Informer’ - check it out here:
Time really does fly when you’re having fun and we’re super sad to be saying goodbye to our March Resident this week for his final mix.
Lock in tonight to hear some drops from his new EP in the mix amongst melodic 4x4 and speed garage tracks, as well as a few stripped back house moments. Bump it loud!
